****DIANE NEEDS YOUR HELP****

Ok Diane emailed me this morning and she has a question for you all.

Diane is going to write her autobiography and whats to know if you the fans would want it to start from the beging of her career when she was 10 or to start from the 80's, personally I would prefer it to start right from the begining, that way we get to hear about the early life of one of Americas top actors, but its upto you guys, either leave a comment or email me.

As a long time fan, I would prefer that it start from the early years. They would be interesting not only to us, but to our children who have become fans by being around us when we constantly watch her movies. I know my daughter loves "better Off Dead"

Please start from the very beginning. It's always more interesting to get a complete story.

Well, there are really two separate questions. One is "What material should such a book cover?" and the other is "Where should it start?" (I'm a writer. I obsess on these things.)

Your mileage may vary, but I'd recommend you start with the most compelling anecdote, whether it's more recent or further back, then eventually bridge to "early life/career" stuff once you've hooked the readers.

I'm open to ghostwriting projects, by the way. ;-)

I would think she'd start from day one. That's what I would expect.

Start from the very beginning Diane! Your a wonderful woman with some of the greatest talent Hollywood ever had to offer! Oh, I miss the great 80's. You sure did add greatness to those years my dear. :)

Diane's fans thrive to understand her and how she became the amazing talent that she has become. To accomplish this it's the early stages of her life that we need to understand and appreciate. How was she able to be so poised with nudity while maintaining a reviting performance that has the indelible stain on our minds? We need to start from the beginning.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention..I would be honored to do art for your autobiography. I would do it in a New York minute Diane! Oh wait, I have already done a bunch already,Lol!..But yes..I really enjoy the talents I have and use them to my ability..as far as I can take it. I am also doing illustrations for a childrens book for a woman out in Arizona..Had a test run and did EXCELLENT!..So I thought why not see if I could do art for Dianes autobiography? So..I thought I would ask since the topic is "Diane Needs Your Help"..I figured I would put in a helping hand..that is, if you need an artist? Oh, and putting the art on your steins, mugs and t-shirts wouldn't be a bad idea either. I think it would be a HUGE hit..I think rather highly of you Diane, so in respect to you I would honor any decision you make regarding that. I just thought that maybe throwing the idea out to you here would save on postage stamps, lol! :P Although, I do plan on sending more printed art to you as soon as I make more prints via in care of your agent at Third Hill Entertainment. Thank you for reaching out to all of us Diane. Your story from the interview on how you started is truly inspiring. Can't wait to read the book..Could make a really good movie one day, but that is just another great idea that just now popped out of my head, lol! Wishing you nothing but the BEST in all you do Diane.

I think your book will be very interesting. I don't know of anyone else from that whole early 80's "comming of age" movie genre that's writen a biography. Let us know if you still keep in touch with former co-stars and tell us how things are today.
This is a good opportunity for people to get an inside look at what was a really interesting time in entertainment history. It had to be exciting.
Best of luck to you and your family and keep up the good work.

There's obviously more to your career than teen movies.
