Hi Mark,
I just stumbled onto your blog. I was flipping through the channels tonight and saw "The Last American Virgin" on T.V. I recall seeing it with a couple of friends when it was in theaters in '82. I had no idea Diane was in the movie (I did recall the storyline though). I remember her from "Better off Dead". Curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to see what she has been up to. When I looked at her biography, I was surprised to learn she is from Plainview, New York. I was born in 1965 in Farmingdale, N.Y. (about 10 miles from Plainview). I was actually a Nassau County Police Officer and worked Plainview once in a while as well. I had NO idea she was a "L.I. girl". I KNEW there was something about her that set her apart from everybody else!! I think that was so great to see where she was from. Heck, she and I could have been born in the same hospital??

Hello Mark...
My name is Matt and I've been trying to post some ideas for Diane's biography on your site, but I can't seem to get google to accept my password. Can you help? My email address is YourMove90125@aol.com. I would greatly appreciate it if you could send me some information on how to get google to accept my password so that I can post these ideas for Diane to read. Thank You.

Originally, I wasn't planning on posting a response to whoever it was that decided to commit the cowardly act of posting Diane's phone number anonymously. Normally, I try to leave positive messages for both Mark and Diane to read. However, the more I think about what caused Mark to have to post a "Things not to leave on my blog" message on his site, the more compelled I feel to type this.
We live in a world that's dangerous enough as is. And for celebrity figures like Diane, it can be magnified even more than it is for the average person. Fotrunately for Mark, Diane has been willing to reach out to both him and her other fans through his blog site. Some people may not appreciate Diane or her work in Hollywood, and they are certainly entitled to their opinion. But to violate her privacy in a way that could jeapordize whatever kindness she has shown to Mark and the rest of her fans on this site is, in a word, despicable.
Just as I'm sorry that we live in a world where cowardice is considered by some to be the only way to express their resentment towards others, I'm also sorry that Mark and Diane have had to experience an example of this cowardice as well. I just hope that this shameful act doesn't harm Diane or her generosity to Mark and her other fans (myself included). Thank You, Matt
